Birbhum (Sc) Lok Sabha Constituency General Election 1980 Results: Gadadhar Saha of CPM won with 2,23,756 votes, defeating Badal Chandra Bagdi of INC(I), who received 1,83,093 votes. Gadadhar Saha won by a margin of 40,663 votes, equivalent to 9.43% of the total votes polled. Total votes polled were 4,31,053.
