Khandwa Lok Sabha Constituency General Election 1998 Results: Nandkumar Singh Chouhan (Nandu Bhaiya) of BJP won with 3,34,340 votes, defeating Tha.Mahendrakumar Singh (Manne Bhaiya) of INC, who received 2,89,820 votes. Nandkumar Singh Chouhan (Nandu Bhaiya) won by a margin of 44,520 votes, equivalent to 6.90% of the total votes polled. Total votes polled were 6,45,501.
