Arambagh Lok Sabha Election Result 1999

Arambagh Lok Sabha Constituency General Election 1999 Results: Anil Basu of CPM won with 5,03,920 votes, defeating Chunilal Chakraborty of BJP, who received 3,87,199 votes. Anil Basu won by a margin of 1,16,721 votes, equivalent to 12.50% of the total votes polled. Total votes polled were 9,33,500.
