Mayurbhanj Lok Sabha Constituency General Election 2009 Results: Laxman Tudu of BJD won with 2,56,648 votes, defeating Sudam Marndi of JMM, who received 1,90,470 votes. Laxman Tudu won by a margin of 66,178 votes, equivalent to 8.02% of the total votes polled. Total votes polled were 8,24,754.
