Koppal Lok Sabha Election Result 1980

Koppal Lok Sabha Constituency General Election 1980 Results: H.G. Ramulu of INC(I) won with 2,48,077 votes, defeating H,R. Basavaraj of INC(U), who received 86,274 votes. H.G. Ramulu won by a margin of 1,61,803 votes, equivalent to 44.38% of the total votes polled. Total votes polled were 3,64,552.
