Maharajganj Lok Sabha Election Result 1998

Maharajganj Lok Sabha Constituency General Election 1998 Results: Prabhunath Singh of SAP won with 3,60,265 votes, defeating Mahachandra Prasad Singh of INC, who received 1,54,712 votes. Prabhunath Singh won by a margin of 2,05,553 votes, equivalent to 30.95% of the total votes polled. Total votes polled were 6,64,232.
