The Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) is a regional political party founded in 1972 and closely associated with the movement for a separate Jharkhand state. It focuses on the rights and representation of Adivasi communities, protection of land and natural resources, and the social and economic development of Jharkhand. Its political agenda includes tribal welfare, employment, education, rural development, and protection of local cultural identity.
