Darbhanga Lok Sabha Constituency General Election 2009 Results: Kirti Azad of BJP won with 2,39,268 votes, defeating Md. Ali Ashraf Fatmi of RJD, who received 1,92,815 votes. Kirti Azad won by a margin of 46,453 votes, equivalent to 8.51% of the total votes polled. Total votes polled were 5,45,713.
