Araria Lok Sabha Constituency General Election 2004 Results: Sukdeo Paswan of BJP won with 2,16,677 votes, defeating Ramji Das Rishideo of SP, who received 1,88,933 votes. Sukdeo Paswan won by a margin of 27,744 votes, equivalent to 4.25% of the total votes polled. Total votes polled were 6,52,439.
